Tottenham have a player in mind to strengthen their defence. Max Aarons continues to be their object of desire, and as the 'Daily Mirror' inform, the club will try to sign him again in the winter market.
The list of defenders that the London outfit have is wide, but the Norwich player is the one they like the most. The full-back was on the brink of signing for Spurs, but Daniel Farke halted his exit.
Aarons is under contract until 2023, so Tottenham will have to increase their latest offer if they want to get him, although Arsenal are also interested. The defender's characteristics are very similar to Kieran Trippier's and José Mourinho has given the all-clear to the deal.
The 20-year-old is capable of playing both on the right (his natural position) and on the left and his ability to get forward is ideal for the style that the Portuguese is looking to develop.
