Andre Onana is having a good season at Ajax. And these performances in the Dutch league have served to put him squarely on Tottenham's agenda.
He would be a signing for the future. Tottenham fully trust in Lloris, one of the goalkeeper's that Pochettino is pleased with. In fact, he has played nine games so far this season and the other six, Gazzaniga has started.
Lloris has a contract until 2022. He is 32-years-old and the board is aware that they need to be looking for a replacement.
And Onana would be the favourite, according to the British club. At 23-years-old, he has become a fundamental part of the Ajax team.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will finally opt for Onana in the next seasons of the market. The Cameroonian has a contract with Ajax until 2022. The Dutch club, in any case, is not going to just give the keeper away.
