Top 5 Premier League transfer targets this summer!

As the Premier League season draws to a close, teams are looking to next season and their targets for the transfer window. 'Mirror' has compiled a list of the players that might be most likely for a move to the English league. With the Big 6 each having millions to play with, teams are willing to splash out on good players, especially those like Chelsea who have had a disappointing season, and Man Utd who are looking to develop squad depth and bolster their ranks up front.

Let's take a look at who's pegged for a move to the top league. 

- Sadio Mane -

Number one on the list is Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane. The outlet reports links between the former Liverpool player and Man Utd and Newcastle. After a slightly underwhelming season in Germany, there are reports the Senegalese international is unhappy and would like a return to the PL. 

Man United, who are somewhat lacking up front in their squad, are keen on Mane, who played six seasons with Liverpool, so he may make his reappearance in the Premier League at Old Trafford.

- Jack Clarke -

The young Sunderland star tried to make it before in the Premier League, back in 2019. He left then-championship club Leeds for Tottenham Hotspurs but the move didn't spell success for the young Englishman. He is currently playing for Sunderland and has over 20 G/A for the side this season. 

There are rumours of links with various premier league clubs, but he will probably be a bit pricier than the last time he ventured into the top league.

- Victor Osimhen -

The Napoli forward was key this season for the Serie A-winning side, scoring a stunning 28 goals in his third season with the Italian side. Having been linked with the Premier League before, this may be the summer he finally makes the move.

For a team like Man Utd or Chelsea, who are lacking fire power up front, Osimhen could be the answer to their prayers. Although he's under contract in Italy until 2025, neither of these teams are short on cash and could be willing to foot his release clause.

- Adrien Rabiot - 

The French international is out of contract with Juventus this summer, which could send him to England on a free transfer. This would no doubt help soften the blow of the star's hefty wage bill. 

The 28-year-old was linked to Man Utd last summer, but maybe this time they'll see a deal through. The midfielder has scored 11 goals this season for his Italian club and might be United's golden ticket for success next season.

Inter's goalkeeper joined the club last summer but has had a phenomenal season, helping see his team through to the Champions League final. 

Now, his stellar performances this season could see him move out of Italy, with Chelsea appearing interested in the Cameroon international. Like many of the other stars on this list, he could be pricey, but Chelsea are no strangers to big figures, paying over $350 million in each of the last two transfer windows.
