Third round League cup draw: Arsenal to face Tottenham

Holders Chelsea travel to League One Walsall, while Manchester City are one of four all-Premier League clashes as they head to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland

Arsenal have been drawn against north London rivals Tottenham in the standout fixture of the League Cup third round draw.

Elsewhere, Manchester United host Ipswich, while holders Chelsea head to Walsall and Manchester City take on fellow Premier League outfit Sunderland. 

West Ham enter at the third round stage following their Europa League exploits and travel to high-flying Leicester City, while minnows Carlisle head to Anfield to face Liverpool. Preston were the giant-killers of round two, becoming the only side to knock out a Premier League side on Tuesday night, defeating Watford at Deepdale and have the chance to repeat the feat when Bournemouth come to town.  Elsewhere Aston Villa host Birmingham in a massive local rivalry, while Crystal Palace welcome fellow south Londoners Charlton
