In the press conference, Jorge Sampaoli, seemed happy, proud and excited by the chants from the Santos crowd towards him. "The Santos fans used to shout Pele's name and Neymar's and now it's mine, it's an honour," he pointed out.

The Argentine coach is gradually winning over the Santos fans, especially after two wins in the opening two games of the 2019 Brasileirao.

"It's of immense joy, I feel very good in this city. The crowd used to shout Pele's name then Neymar's and now mine," stressed the ex-Argentina coach after the 2-1 victory over Fluminense.

"Our football has to be a way of life, coinciding with what the fans want," indicated Sampaoli, who continues mantaining his idea of attractive football which has characterised his managerial career.

"Even at 2-0 up, we kept on attacking and we had eight shots on goal. Attacking football is our sign of identity," concluded an excited and happy Sampaoli in his first taste of Brazilian football
