Lucas Vazquez briefly analysed the match on 'Movistar+' and he made a surprising comment. The Spaniard thought Atalanta should have had a second red card when Vinicius when heading towards goal.
Just as Nacho Fernandez and Courtois did, Vazquez highlighted the importance of the victoty. "We knew that it was going to be a very difficult match, I think the result is fair and the victory is deserved," he said.
"After the red card, they sat back and defended very well. They did their job, they sat back, we struggled to find space, that goal made us happy. We know that it's far from over," Vazquez continued.
Then he talked about the refereeing. "In the Champions League, everything is decided by small details. There was also a foul on Vini (Vinicius) when he was heading towards the keeper and I don't know whether that was a red or not," he concluded.
