The starlet Ronaldo is urging Madrid to sign
According to Spanish publication 'Don Balon', Cristiando Ronaldo has brought it upon himself make sure that Real Madrid realise he wants a specific player to be his team-mate: Marcus Rashford.
Madrid continue to produce unconvincing displays at the Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos drew against Tottenham, in a game where Harry Kane, one of the players targeted by the European champions, put in a good performance.
According to the aforementioned source, Madrid's interest in the Spurs striker has now moved on to admiration for Marcus Rashford. One reason for this is because Cristiano Ronaldo has recommend that Madrid go for the Manchester United striker, as he believes he can flourish in the Spanish capital.
However, it is worth noting that one big problem with the potential pursuit of Rashford, is that he is contracted at Old Trafford until 2020, so it is likely that Mourinho and Co. will ask for an extortionate transfer fee in order to avoid the departure of one of their brightest young talents.
At the moment, Madrid see Rashford as an option for the future. The hopes of English football lie heavily, although not solely, on his shoulders, and Ronaldo knows where he should be: next to him.
