The secret to Morata's resurgence in front of goal?

Morata may not have fullly hit form so far this campaign, but the Chelsea forward has shown that he is still no slouch in the penalty area, as he displayed lethal composure during a training drill this week.

England striker coach Alan Russell tested the skills of Morata during a promotional shooting drill for 'Sure' at Chelsea training this week. And, it was clear who the true number nine was, as the Spaniard outstruck both Pedro and Davide Zappacosta to prove that he still has the ability to play at the very top, in spite of a shaky start to the season in front of goal for Chelsea.

The drill consisted of three stages;

Stage 1) Run to a coloured cone, chosen at random, and shoot past a goalkeeper from range; all within three seconds.

Stage 2) Execute a first-time finish from a front post run.

Stage 3) Execute a first-time finish at the back post.

The contest was scored on a points system; three points for any goal scored from outside the box, and one point for goals from inside the area

Morata was the first player to take on the challenge, and fired in a respectable nine points; looking mostly assured throughout apart from completely slicing a volleyed effort  towards the end.

Take a look at the action below:
