Ander Herrera spoke to 'RMC' after PSG's Champions League elimination in the semi-final against Man City. The midfielder claimed Kuipers insulted Leandro Paredes and Marco Verratti also claimed he was insulted.

Ander Herrera spoke to 'RMC' and slammed referee Bjorn Kuipers. He accused the Dutch official of swearing at the players.

"We often talk about respect. But the referee said 'f**k off to Paredes. If we say that, we get a three or four game ban," Herrera said. Verratti also claimed the referee said "f**k you" to him twice.

On the match and tie, the former Man Utd man said his deserved more: "We were the better team for 70 minutes. We tried everything. We attacked and caused problems for a team who are playing very well, so I think we can leave here with our heads held high."

"We're sad, of course, but it's not easy to reach the final last season and then make the final four again this term," Herrera added.

The footballer said the team must carry on in the same vein: "We mustn't change what we did. We played well, we attacked, we created many chances, especially with many crosses. In the first half, we played a lot of balls between the lines, we created a lot of problems for them. We did everything, but you there are always things to improve, that's for sure."
