Mao Molina, the man who helped nurture Neymar in his early days at Santos, has announced his retirement from professional football.
The Colombian playmaker, currently at Independiente Medellin, will hang up his boot at the end of the season, but his legacy of incredible goals will live on.
Beyond his strikes from set pieces, Molina is known for his relationship with PSG star Neymar, and was the player who made way for the Brazilian for his professional debut with Santos.
Despite rarely meeting in the dressing room, Neymar had said in 2013: "Molina is a great person. He taught me how to take free-kicks."
