Kostas Manolas achieved the impossible and scored the decider in the tie at the Olympic stadium in Rome. The Greek centre-back, from a corner, rose above everyone to score a miraculous header.
Roma became the downfall of Barcelona during the quarter-finals clash. The Italian team needed at least three goals to take the lead to qualify for the semi-finals, and they certainly achieved it.
Dzeko and De Rossi were responsible for the initial two goals, but the home team desperately searched for a third. In the 82nd minute, Manolas delivered.
From a corner, the Greek defender, finished the delivery off with an incredible header, earning Roma the vital 3-0. Chaos erupted in the stands and on the pitch Roma eliminated Catalan giants Barcelona and progressed to the semi-finals.
