Julen Lopetegi announced the Spain squad for their upcoming friendlies against Germany and Argentina, two very difficult tests for 'La Roja'. There were some big names excluded from the list, leading to 'Marca' drawing up an ideal XI of possible absentees for the World Cup.

Chelsea's Alvaro Morata was just one of the stars missing from Lopetegi's squad for Spain's upcoming friendlies, along with Cesc Fabregas and Javi Martinez. For this reason, we take a look at the best players who could miss out on a trip to Russia in the summer:
