The clouds overshadowing Ronaldo will dissipate in Paris today
The entire world of football is under the assumption that Cristiano Ronaldo will claim his fifth Ballon d'Or, handed out by prestigious magazine 'France Football' on Thursday night.
It will not be just another Ballon d'Or for Ronaldo. It could well turn into one of the most important awards he takes home in a career full of successes. Always in Lionel Messi's shadow, the Portuguese striker will most likely level with the Argentine. Something that seemed unthinkable a few years ago, will be a reality. At least for now, he will be on a par with Messi.
