Jadon Sancho, at the age of 17 years and almost seven months, made his full debut for Borussia Dortmund. The talented English footballer is widely considered the best youngster in the world.
Despite shining for his country in the Under-17 World Cup only a few days ago, Sancho returned to Germany. The Bundesliga outfit, in case they had to call on his talents, only gave him permission to feature in the group stages in India.
His debut was to be expected and it happened in the 84th minute in Saturday's fixture against Eintracht. Sancho replaced Philipp. The scoreline (2-2) remained unaltered, but Sancho showed glimpses of his quality.
The playmaker seemed keen, eager to get on the ball and be at the centre of things. Dortmund have placed their trust in Sancho, who arrived in the summer to replace Ousmane Dembele.
