FIFPro has published a list of the 23 best players to shape the best XI of 2021. Among the candidates are such classics as Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as some surprises such as Dani Alves.

The Fédération Internationale des Associations de Footballeurs Professionnels (FIFPro) has drawn up the list of 23 finalists who will compete for the best XI of 2021, which will be announced on 17th January 2022.

These are the 23 nominees:

Jordi Alba (Barcelona)

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus)

Dani Alves (Sao Paulo-Barcelona)
