Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng spoke about Manchester United's current situation in an interview for 'VIBE with FIVE'. The 36-year-old said Erik ten Hag should be sacked after what he did to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United last season after giving a controversial interview in which he criticised both manager Erik ten Hag and the board.

Fans of the Portuguese star as well as his inner circle felt insulted by the Dutch mananger for his treatment of Ronaldo. The Red Devils are now off to their worst ever start in the Premier League era

Kevin-Prince Boateng, who played for Hertha Berlin before retiring, spoke about the English side's current situation and said Ten Hag should be sacked for both his results and his treatment of Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I think he's got to go. From what I'm seeing, there's no energy. I don't see any energy. And then what he did to Ronaldo and all that, it’s too much stuff. There’s ways to let a player off and I think he chose the wrong way. I think he’s not on the level to be the coach of Man United," he told 'VIBE with FIVE'.

He went on to add: "Even the team is not the best, they have some good players but not the best. But still there’s no fire. When you come to Old Trafford, it’s like how you said, they put in a ball and there’s no pace, no one gets angry, no one puts in passion and fire."
