Tagliafico's future seems to lie away from Amsterdam. Ajax will let the Argentine leave for around 25 million euros after both parties reached an agreement. Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are lying in wait.

Despite the fact Nicolas Tagliafico's Ajax contract does not expire until June 2022, the Argentinian left-back keeps on being linked with a move away from the Dutch outfit this summer.

The rumours are so great that the press are even thinking of putting a price tag on his departure. It would be around 25 million euros, according to 'AS', and the player and the club have apparently agreed on his departure.

Clubs the size of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are willing to offer that amount of money, since it is an acceptable price for both clubs.

Taglafico admitted a few days back that he would not be against moving to another league: "Ajax are a great club, but maybe the Eredivisie is not among the best leagues in the world and one dreams about playing in a top league."

At 27, the former Independiente player has ended up making 99 competitive appearances for the Dutch side and scored 12 goals.
