Swansea's record signing Borja Baston could be heading back to La Liga on loan after the club opened talks with Malaga over a potential deal.

The Spanish striker only joined the club last summer for a fee of £15.5m but looks to be on his way out.

The former Atletico Madrid man scored just one goal in 20 appearances for the 'swans' last season and made just 4 starts in the Premier League as he failed to oust Fernando Llorente as the club's first choice striker.

The 'BBC' (not that one) reports that the player was close to joining Villarreal on loan in January but that the deal fell through, thought it appears he will finally get his return to his homeland.

Malaga are in the market for a striker after Sandro Ramirez joined Everton for £5.2m and it seems that Baston is the man they want to filled the void created by the former Barca man's departure.
