Super League still alive: none of the 12 have pulled out
Super League is more alive than ever. Justice assured that none of the 12 clubs that created the competition have disassociated themselves from it.
The court's decision to back the 12 clubs that created the Super League, a parallel competition to UEFA, has sparked a state of optimism among those clubs.
It was evident on Friday when Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, the three clubs who openly continue to insist on the competition, welcomed the court's decision in a statement.
The other nine were left behind, although 'IUSPORTS' reported that the judge also ruled that none of the 12 clubs that challenged UEFA have disassociated themselves from the Super League.
"The Super League project continues to move forward with the participation of all the founding clubs, with no record of any founding club renouncing for legal purposes," explained judge Ruiz de Lara.
Thus, according to the aforementioned information, the 12 clubs that initiated the separation with UEFA and the creation of the Super League remain attached to the new competition, which still has no date.
The visible faces remain Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, led by Florentino Perez, Joan Laporta and Andrea Agnelli.
The judge also closed the disciplinary proceedings against the teams, for which they were not obliged to pay anything to UEFA, which will consider a possible sanction.
