Sunderland close to double signing
Sunderland are on the edge of signing Aiden McGeady and James Vaughan, as the Wearside club want to strengthen their squad.
According to Sky Sports, McGeady is undergoing his medical for Sunderland, after he finished his contract with Everton yesterday.
McGeady will be reunited with his former manager Simon Grayson and Everton are willing to pay around £2 million for the Republic of Ireland winger.
English striker Vaughan is also keen on making a move to Everton, as Bury approved Everton's £900,000 bid.
By now, Sunderland have signed two players: Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning from Everton.
