Luis Suarez and Diego Simeone practically have an offer on the table to continue at Atletico Madrid. During his appearance on '#Vamos' following Atletico's victory against Valladolid which secured them the La Liga title, the club president said that both will continue at the club if that's what they want to do,.
Regarding Suarez, he stated: "He's a magnificent player and a great person. He's shown this on the pitch and with that emotion after the match. He's a big winner, what we all want to be. His contract renewal is ready and it only depends on whether he himself wants to continue, but I don't think he'll have any doubts".
When asked about his manager, he affirmed: "He is Atletico's most decorated manager. He will do what he really wants to. If he wants to stay, he will stay. If not, he will leave. But I think he has decided to continue". Addressing the Atleti fans, he said: "I send a hug once again, and we ask for controlled celebrations that comply with COVID regulations. We will have the whole year to celebrate this win".
