Mamadou Sakho stupidly gave away a penalty in the dying minutes of the match, which Junior Stanislas dispatched coolly.

Bournemouth had take n the lead early on through a superb David Brooks strike, before Palace responded just after the break with an equally great finish from van Aanholt.

The home side heaped the pressure on as the game continued, and managed to win a free kcik on the right wing with just three minutes of the 90 left.

As the ball came in, Mamadou Sakho carelessly swung his arm in to the face of Jefferson Lerman, who went down and referee Mike Riley gave the penalty.

Junior Stanislas was the man to take the kick, and calmly chipped it over Wayne Hennesey to give his side the lead so late in to the game.
