Silva compounded Arsenal's miserable afternoon
Arsenal have had a dismal afternoon at Wembley as David Silva fired home Manchester City's third goal to all but seal the League Cup for Pep Guardiola's side.
The 'Sky Blues' were already 2-0 up thanks to a beautiful chip by Sergio Aguero in the first half and a second-half scramble by skipper Vincent Kompany.
However, seven minutes after the second, City compounded Arsenal's misery through David Silva.
The Spaniard was put through in the box by right-back Danilo and had no trouble finding the back of the net, firing home to put City 3-0 ahead with 25 minutes remaining.
