Everton got themselves back into the game right before the half-time whistle blew. Gylfi Sigurdsson stepped up to the plate with a fantastic header past Fabianski.

Despite finding themselves two goals behind at home to a struggling West Ham side, Marco Silva's Everton carved out an opportunity to pull a goal back on the stroke of half-time.

Rather against the run-of-play, Jason Kenny found space down the right-hand side to whip a cross into the West Ham area.

Jumping highest in the box was none other than Icelandic international Gylfi Sigurdsson, who made a good connection with the ball.

The 29-year-old's header flew straight past Lukasz Fabianski, putting Everton back in the running for the three points.
