We could class it as the worst penalty in the history of the FA Cup or just a unfortunate outcome. The Weymouth player's penalty went so wide that it hit a steward on the head.

The current edition of the FA Cup has left us one of the most exciting images in recent history. It was a penalty kick taken during the shootout.

And it was not precisely because of the excellence spot kick, but because of where the ball ended up. The video has gone viral.

Weymouth and Yeovil Town were playing each other in a FA Cup qualifying tie. After a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes, it went to a penalty shootout.

A Weymouth player set up to take the penalty, but his shot was so poor that the ball hit a steward in the stadium.

The shot knocked the man's hat off and sent it flying. However, the man ended up celebrating the missed penalty together with the rest of the visiting supporters behind the goal.
