Sevilla optimistic about signing De Tomas
Sevilla FC remain hopeful of signing Raul de Tomas. Espanyol are very tough in negotiations, but the club are confident of signing the Madrid striker this summer.
The option of signing Raul de Tomas has been on the cards all summer. However, Sevilla have no intention of reaching the 30 million euros that Espanyol are asking for, unless the Catalan side accept more affordable conditions.
According to 'Estadio Deportivo', the Sevilla board is optimistic, despite the continuous negative reports from Barcelona. Tecatito Corona's injury and the team's lack of goals forced Monchi to move for a striker.
Other names such as Mauro Icardi, from PSG, or Roman Yaremchuk, from Benfica, are other names that the Andalusian club are considering for the current season. However, the favourite option is the Spaniard.
The former Rayo Vallecano player wants to leave Cornella and would like to join a club that play in the Champions League.
