Sevilla are advancing talks with Schalke 04 to sign defender Ozan Kabak. According to 'Estadio Deportivo', the Germans rejected Monchi's offer of ten million and demand at least 15m.

Sevilla need to reinforce their defence after the departure of Sergi Gomez to Espanyol and the possible departure of Kounde. The next addition to join the Sevillian club would be central defender Ozan Kabak, with the club's offer approaching ten million euros, as reported by 'Estadio Deportivo'.

However, Schalke 04, who are forced to sell following their relegation, rejected the Spanish club's initial offer and are demanding at least 15 million for the 21-year-old Turk.

This move is in parallel with the departure of Kounde, who, as Italian journalist Fabrizo Romano reported, is still in negotiations between Sevilla and Chelsea.

What seems clear is that talks with the German second division side are still open and Sevilla hope they can be completed as soon as possible with the arrival of Kabak.
