Leroy Sane believes Manchester City can go all the way in the Champions League this season, after they drew Liverpool in the quarter finals of the competition.

City, who are out in Dubai at a training camp at the moment, drew the only other English side in the tournament for the next round of games. They are training in Abu Dhabi due to a gap in fixtures caused by them not being in the FA Cup.

While City are out of the cup, after being eliminated by Wigan, their scheduled Premier League opponents Brighton have an FA Cup clash with Manchester United on Saturday. This has led to City's league game with the 'Seagulls' being postponed, giving Pep Guardiola's side a 19 day break.

Sane spoke to the press on the topic of the Champions League, saying his side have a 'good chance' of winning it, as reported by the 'Daily Mail'. "This year we're a real strong team," the German stated. "We understand Pep Guardiola's philosophy, have improved a lot and know what he wants from us."

"The Champions League is a really tough tournament and every single game is really special and difficult. But we have a good chance to come to the final and win the Champions League. But it will be really difficult."

Sane's side will face Liverpool at Anfield on April 4, and then host the Merseyside club at the Ethiad six days later, as they look to win City's first ever Champions League trophy.
