Sancho's poor performance a matter of derision in Germany

Jadon Sancho's return to the Premier League has not gone as the Englishman had hoped, leading 'Sky Sport Germany' to compare him to the world's most famous spy, 007: zero goals, zero assists, seven games.

One might have expected the always scathing British press to be behind this jibe, but no. The joke comes from the seemingly serious German press. They don't forget that Sancho left Borussia to go to England to succeed.

They call him 007. Because he has zero goals and zero assists in seven Premier League games. They were hoping he wouldn't play a single minute in the debacle against Liverpool to keep the joke going for another week.

Jadon Sancho's statistics in his first season at Manchester United are appalling. Of those seven games, he has only started three. In total, he has eleven appearances and six starts, all of them blank.

It is true that the club's situation is not helping, plunged into a deep crisis of results, but he is still far from the figures he averaged at Borussia.
