Mohamed Salah doubled Liverpool's lead just before the break against Red Star Belgrade.

The 'Reds' had taken the lead half way through the first peruiod when Roberto Firmino's reflected shit found its way in to the back of the net.

Since then, the home side had had almost total control of procedings and were doing well to win the ball back high up the pitch when Red Star did look to get back in to the game.

This helped them get the second goal of the evning, as the ball was won back by Georginio Wijnaldum, who quickly fired a ball in to Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Swiss international pulled off an excellent flick to feed in Mohamed Salah, who was on the right side of the box.

The Premier League player of the season form last year took a touch, and clinically fired the ball in to the roof of the net with his weaker right foot to make it 2-0.
