Cristiano Ronaldo found the back of the net at the Parc des Princes to keep up his spectacular run of form in the Champions League. His competitors once again stand little chance of claiming the tournament's golden boot.

The Portuguese striker is just five goals away from matching his personal best set in 2013/14, while Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala scored their fifth and first goals, respectively, for Juventus to overcome Tottenham at Wembley.

On Tuesday, Ronaldo opened the scoring in Paris with a clinical header in the second half, bringing him a step closer to the 17 goals he scored to help Real Madrid to their tenth continental trophy in 2014.

Edinson Cavani also made the scoresheet to bring his total up to seven, the same number as Harry Kane. They are both in second position behind Ronaldo but have missed the chance to beat the Madrid star after crashing out of the competition.
