The Juventus forward has re-listed the house in which he stayed during his spell at Manchester United, which looks set to kill any supporter's hopes that the Portuguese will make a return to Old Trafford.

Having moved from Manchester to Madrid, and then Madrid to Turin this summer, Cristiano Ronaldo remains interested in selling his former Cheshire home. The property, complete with five bedrooms, a swinning pool, hot tub and games room, has been re-listed this week, for the handsome price of £3.25million.

Ronaldo is believed to have first bought the home back in 2006 during his time under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford. The Portuguese could be left disappointed by the recent listing price of his former dwelling though, as it now stands at  £3.25million, a significantly lower figure than the £3.85 million that he spent over a decade ago.

This is the not the first time the Portuguese has tried to sell the property; he first put it on the market in 2009 when he transferred to Spanish giants Real Madrid. However, in spite of not finding a buyer, the home has not sat empty. Since the departure of the Portuguese, the property has been rented by current Manchester United player Luke Shaw, after he moved to the north-west from Southampton in 2014.

According to 'The Sun', the full back has been paying Ronaldo £7,000 per month, but the Juventus man is keen to sell the property outright. The property is located in the wealthy area of Alderley Edge, a town that is frequented by many north-west based footballers.
