There are days when it's hard to be Cristiano Ronaldo. Not even the passage to the Coppa Italia final prevented the Portuguese from reading heavy criticism in the press the day after the 0-0 with Milan. Not just because of his missed penalty, but because of the mistakes which left him criticism like "Disappointing," "He's a little rusty," or "A bad night."

The best seem condemned to excellence. If not, the usual accumulation of praise turns into criticism. Let them tell that to Cristiano Ronaldo, who woke up on Saturday in the Coppa final but was heavily criticised in the media for his performance.

The ex-Real Madrid player caught the attention by missing a penalty, something which left the passage to the final not as important, as well as a lovely piece of skill in the final stages.

"Disappointing" is the adjective that 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' use to refer to the Portuguese forward (as well as Pjanic). Moreover, they add that "it wasn't his day" and he had passages of play more typical of "ordinary players".

'Corriere della Sera' were even more critical, who shamelessly affirmed that Ronaldo "is a little rusty". 'Corriere dello Sport' say that "Ronaldo doesn't shine' and that he had "a bad night".

Furthermore, the average mark that the main Italian newspapers gave him is a 5, a scraped pass.
