Ronaldo doubled his tally for the day to put the game to bed
Cristiano Ronaldo secured the points for Real Madrid against Alaves on Saturday as his second goal of the day gave the hosts a three-goal lead to end any hopes of an Alaves comeback.
The Portuguese has previously opened the scoring in the first half and he didn't have to wait long for his 28th goal of the season.
Just after the hour mark, Lucas Vazquez was fed on the right and his pass was perfect for Ronaldo to sweep home without breaking stride to double his tally for the day and give Real an unassailable 3-0 lead.
Despite what many consider a disappointing season, Ronaldo's goal stats all of a sudden don't look too bad at all.
