Ronaldo, better than three big teams in 2018!
Cristiano Ronaldo's numbers in La Liga since the turn of the new year have been outstanding. So much so that he has already scored more goals than three of the big guns in Europe.
2018 has so far been incredible for the Real Madrid forward. Not only has he been bagging in the goals left, right and centre in La Liga but he has translated his rich vein of form across to the Champions League.
The Portugal international even hit four past Girona on Sunday to reach 17 league goals since January 1. A spectacular figure which is higher than the whole squads of Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United have managed to achieve in the same time period.
While Jose Mourinho's United (15) and Antonio Conte's Chelsea (12) are built to be more defensively sound, Dortmund are a surprise inclusion given their stereotype for playing attacking football.
In addition to the three aforementioned clubs, two other great European teams have currently scored the same amount of goals as Ronaldo: AC Milan and Arsenal.
It puts in to perspective his prolificness, which has seen him close the gap to rival Lionel Messi for the 'Pichichi' with just nine games remaining.
