The Serie A is fast approaching its end, with matchday 36 coming to an end on Monday. One of the last games to be played is a crucial one for determining who gets to play European football next term, with Roma hosting Salernitana.

Despite Napoli being crowned Serie A champions a few weeks ago, there is still a lot to play for at both ends of the table. That has never been more of the case as for Roma, who host Salernitana on Monday.

It is true that Jose Mourinho's side are already in the Europa League final for this season, and will soon be going up against Sevilla for the ultimate reward. However, should they fall at the last hurdle, qualifying for European competition through their league position would be ideal for the Italian side.

At the moment, Roma are two points off the Europa Conference League qualification spot, which Atalanta currently occupy, but have a game in hand. Therefore, should Mourinho's men get over the line tonight, they would be well-poised to guaranteed European football next term.

As for Salernitana, they're sat in 15th, eight points above the drop zone, meaning they have successfully secure top flight football for next year. The highest spot they can mathematically finish is 13th.

Roma POSSIBLE line-up: Patricio; Mancini, Cristante, Ibanez; Missori, Bove, Wijnaldum, Zalewski; Pellegrini; Solbakken, Abraham

Salernitana POSSIBLE line-up: Ochoa; Lovato, Gyomber, Pirola; Mazzocchi, Coulibaly, Vilhena, Bradaric; Candreva, Dia; Piatek
