Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spoke to the press after his side's 0-3 win against Everton. Spaniard Rodri, who had to be subbed off before the full-time whistle, was seen to be limping. However, this shouldn't mean he's in danger of missing the Real Madrid game.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola reassured the press that Rodri, who was brought off in the Everton game, will be over his knock in time for Wednesday's clash against Real Madrid.

The Spanish midfielder, who is an out-and-out starter in Guardiola's side, was subbed off in the final minutes of the 0-3 win over Everton, and was seen to be limping slightly.

However, Guardiola claimed after the game that he is in perfect shape to try and reach the Champions League final.

"He'll be fine for Wednesday", the Spanish coach said, meaning only Nathan Ake is a doubt, who missed the game at the Bernabeu and didn't feature against Everton either.

Guardiola chose to rest players such as Kevin de Bruyne, John Stones, Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva for Sunday's win.
