'El Golazo de Gol', a programme shown on Spanish channel 'GOL', broadcast a post game conversation between referee Cesar Soto Grado and the Real Madrid footballers who came over to him after the end of the game with Osasuna. They were unhappy about the lack of added time. The referee told them not to complain as they had 90 minutes to score.

There were complaints from Real Madrid's players to the referee after the La Liga clash with Osasuna because they understodd that the referee added very little time for what was lost. Militao, Rodrygo and Vinicius protested to the referee Cesar Soto Grado. Their conversation was made public thanks to a video by 'El Golazo de GOL'.

"Only four... four! Why only four?", they began telling the ref. "How? It's impossible! Impossible! One change and another change..." Soto Grado replied "You've had 90 minutes so don't come protesting to me now because I'd didn't add another minute... No, no, I know you." Some Osasuna players then went over to the ref.

There were quite a few interruptions in the game and five interruptions for substitutions. Madrid were so desperate to have a little bit more time to beat Sergio Herrera because they were aware that the three points were vital in their fight for the title.

Without the win, Real Madrid are top, but Carlo Ancelotti's side would have liked the three points. 'Los Blancos' are level on 21 points with Sevilla, Real Betis and Real Sociedad. It is not the ideal scenario, which was to be two points clear at the top, but they could not score against Osasuna.
