Reports in Spain claims that struggling Real Madrid are prepared to do whatever it takes to bring Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero to the club as they look to end their goalscoring woes.

The Argentine has been in sensational form for Premier League leaders Manchester City so far this season, plundering ten goals in 12 games during what has been in impressive start from Pep Guardiola's men.

That form has seen the 29-year-old become the Premier League's all-time top non-European goalscorer as well as City's all-time record goalscorer, feats that naturally have attracted interest from elsewhere.

Spanish giants Real Madrid have previously been linked with a move and according to Spanish publication 'Don Balon', 'Los Blancos' are preparing a £53m deal to bring the hotshot to the Spanish capital either in Janaury or at the end of the season.

It is thought that Aguero would be very interested in the move, however, much depends on whether City are successful in their pursuit of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.

City saw a deadline day move for the Chilean collapse after Arsenal failed to complete a deal to sign Monaco's Thomas Lemar, but they are keen to revive talks when the transfer window reopens in January.

Given Gabriel Jesus' explosive start to his City career, it is thought that Aguero could be dispensable should City get their hands on someone of Sanchez's quality, despite his undoubted quality and fan favourite status.
