'AS' reports that Real Madrid will seel Takefusa Kubo this summer if they get a good offer for him. However, their priority is for him to be loaned out again so that he continue his development. Carlo Ancelotti has not got place for him in a squad in which he would be a non-EU player.

It has been a few years since Takefusa Kubo began working at Real Madrid. The plan with him was clear. He was a young talent who had to develop at other clubs before making the step up to the Santiago Bernabeu. The problem is that, at the moment, this is not close to happening.

Rodrygo, Vinicius, Asensio and company are ahead of him in the pecking order and Carlo Ancelotti does not have place for Kubo in the team. In addition, he would use up one of the three non-EU spots available to Spanish clubs and the club already have three in Vinicius, Rodrygo and Militao. The consequence of all of that is that he will be sold if a good offer comes in.

'AS' is the media outlet to have published this information. Real Madrid's bigwigs, in any case, would rather loan him out again so that he can continue to grow. He has a contract until 2024 and their budget does not require them to sell players to get more money. That means the situation is ideal for them not to sell the Japanese.

That said and according to the previously cited media outlet, if the proposal which Real Madrid receives were to buy the player rather than loan him out, Madrid would be happy to let him leave. All of it will also depend on what the footballer wants, who, at the moment, is key to triumphing one day at the Bernabeu.
