According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid have reached an agreement to bring in 16-year-old Moroccan talent Abdellah Ouazzine from Ajax, marking another move in their continued focus on youth development.

The youngster is expected to join the Spanish side in July, where he will initially link up with the club's academy squad.

Ouazzine's switch to Madrid is seen as a strategic acquisition, with the player arriving as a free agent after coming through the ranks at Ajax.

The teenager has already caught the eye of scouts across Europe, and Madrid's decision to move quickly for his services reflects their confidence in his long-term potential.

The Moroccan is set to become part of the academy structure that has produced the likes of Achraf Hakimi — another North African full-back who made the leap from Castilla to the first team before establishing himself as a European star.

Ouazzine will be hoping to follow a similar path as he begins the next stage of his development in Spain.
