Sergio Ramos' comments were picked up by pitchside microphones during Real Madrid's game with Elche. He was complaining about a possible penalty to referee Jorge Figueroa Vazquez.

Real Madrid and Elche played out a very dull first half and 0-0 was more than fair at the break. There was controversy early in the second period though.

Sergio Ramos tried to score from a corner, but claimed his shirt was pulled by Marcone. In fact, his protests to the referee were picked up clearly by the pitchside mics.

The referee turned down the appeals and Ramos continued: "F***ing penalty, it's a penalty. It's a miracle he didn't break my arm. Have a look at it, I ask you please to look at it. It's a stonewall penalty."

Jorge Figueroa Vazquez stopped play for a few moments, but then ordered play on. Ramos' appeals fell on deaf ears.
