Sergio Ramos marked his return to the Real Madrid team with a goal as he opened the scoring against Levante on Saturday.

Having recovered from injury, Ramos was recalled to the starting lineup for the game and he celebrated by nodding home the opner.

Toni Kroos sent in a corner from the right and the Real captain rose highest to meet it and direct the ball goalwards.

However, Ramos' goal was indebted to a mistake from home goalkeeper Oier Olazabal.

The 'stopper looked to have the situation under control, but seemingly put off by Karim Benzema's attempts to flick the ball on, he flapped at it and the ball squeezed past him and into the back of the net.
