Sergio Ramos was clearly missed by Real Madrid against Juventus on Wednesday as the Italians clawed back the three goal deficit from the first leg and there is more bad news to come. Ramos was suspended after picking up too many yellow cards, but was caught watching the game from the tunnel. As a result he could face a further ban.

UEFA have been made aware that Ramos was watching the game from the tunnel - something you are not allowed to do when suspended.

Ramos was seen in the tunnel, but it went further as there were moments when he was in discussion with Juve manager Allergri.

Ramos will now likely be given a one game ban, meaning he will also miss the first leg of the Champions League semi final. The opponent for this game will be revealed in the draw on Friday.

The official line is that Ramos came down from the stands due to the stress of nerves, and nobody made him aware of the fact that he was not allowed to be there.

There is a precedent set for this type of punishment. During the 2014 Final, Xabi Alonso was seen on the pitch whilst under suspension and was consequently ruled out of the European Super Cup.
