Sergio Ramos, Captain of Spain and Real Madrid, had a chat with several Spain fans and spoke, amongst other things, about his start in the world of football.

Sergio Ramos answered questions from winners of the VIP experience with the Spanish national team. One of the winners asked him about what he did with his first salary as a footballer and the player revealed that he spent it on a person very special to him.

"The first salary that I earned was spent on a kitchen and a bathroom for my Grandmother, I told her: 'The day I'm a footballer I'll buy them for you," Sergio Ramos recalled with a smile on his face.

Moreover, Ramos also spoke about how he felt about winning the World Cup in South Africa: "It will always be an unforgettable moment for everyone, not only for me. It was the most united I saw my country. Coming to Madrid and seeing Spanish flags for every square metre you stepped on is something unmatchable".

Finally, he explained how his captaincy lives: "For me it is a responsibility. With the passage of time the captaincy makes you an example and the bracelet, like a pride, is also a responsibility because you know everything it represents".
