French footballer Adrien Rabiot told 'Telefoot', and he spoke about what happened in the Euros between his mother and Mbappe and Pogba's families. The midfielder played down what happened.
World Cup winners France suffered an early exit at the Euros. The French outfit were knocked out of the last 16 by Switzerland 5-4 on penalties after a 3-3 draw in 120 minutes.
France's elimination caused shockwaves at the club and that led to a more than controversial episode involving Rabiot's mother and Mbappe and Pogba's families. Cameras picked up what happened and two months later, Adrien told 'Telefoot' what had happened.
The midfielder played down what had happened. "Nothing happened in the stands. It was a bit surprising to hear all that. I spoke to her and I believe her. When she tells me that nothing happened, that is the truth. You could see a bit of anger in the video, that can always happen, but do you know what was said?"
"I haven't spoken about that with Mbappe and Pogba, there was nothing from their side or mine, so there was no need to talk about anything," he added.
