PSV snatch Dutch title off Ajax
The Dutch league went right down to the last game of the season, and it was as dramatic as we expected
PSV have been crowned as Dutch champions after a nail-biting final day of the season which saw them win the title ahead of Ajax.
The teams went into the final day of the season level on points, with Ajax ahead by virtue of having a six-goal advantage in goal difference.
However in a shock turn of events, Ajax could only draw 1-1 with feeble De Graafschap which opened the door to their rivals.
PSV on the other hand made sure they didn't slip up and took advantage of Ajax's misfortunes, as two Luuk de Jong goals and one from Jurgen Locadia gave them a 3-1 win at PEC Zwolle.
