Paris Saint-Germain paid tribute to Sergio Rico on the last matchday of the Ligue 1 season. The Spaniard is in serious condition and the Parisian team decided that the players would warm up before the game with a picture of the goalkeeper. The match was played with his name on the back.

Paris Saint-Germain's Spanish goalkeeper Sergio Rico remains stable and sedated in the ICU of the Virgen del Rocio Hospital in Seville for the serious head injuries he suffered from a horse kicking him during the Romeria del Rocio (Huelva).

As a result, Paris Saint-Germain paid tribute to him on the last matchday of the Ligue 1 campaign. The players came out to warm up with the message 'We support you, Sergio'. PSG's starters and substitutes played with the Spaniard's name on their backs.

Moreover, the Parisian side decided to place a banner on the Parc des Princes pitch while the players were warming up before the kick-off.

Manager Cristophe Galtier told a pre-match press conference ahead of the Clermont game that in the 16th minute the whole stadium will send a message of support to Sergio Rico with applause.
