Pep wants to get back at Mourinho by stealing his star
José Mourinho has now gotten the better of Pep Guardiola twice in a row but according to 'The Independent', Pep is looking to launch a bid to sign Harry Kane.
Pep Guardiola has just renewed his Manchester City contract and now he has asked the board to focus all of their efforts on securing the services of one player in particular.
The City manager wants Harry Kane. 'The Independent' are reporting that the Tottenham Hotspur superstar is the number one target for Pep as the Spaniard looks to lead a rebuild.
And City know just how good he is after the England striker was instrumental in Spurs' recent 2-0 win over the Citizens at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Kane would serve as a long-term Sergio Aguero replacement. The Argentine's contract expires in 2021 and Darwin Núñez of Santpedor is another option on the table for Guardiola's side.
