Pep Guardiola's history as a coach against Real Madrid is big, varied and more positive than negative. He has never faced the whites as Manchester City coach, only as FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach.

Precisely, the last two times he has faced them in official matches, they were bad nights for Guardiola: 1-0 at the Bernabeu and, above all, the 0-4 at Allianz in the Champions League semifinals in 2013/14, where Bayern took on Madrid.

With FC Barcelona, Guardiola has played Madrid in all domestic competitions and also in the Champions League. The balance is outstanding for the Catalan coach.

Pep has beaten Madrid nine times, draw with them on four occasions and only lost twice. The goalscoring balance is terrifying: 33 goals in his favour and 15 against.

With Manchester City, who do not really have much of a record with Real Madrid, the coach has never faced them. They did play against them one summer: 4-1 for the English team... with a goal from Brahim, now a white player.
